Russia has no plans to change personal income tax for 3 years

MOSCOW, Oct 18 (PRIME) – Russia does not plan any changes to the personal income tax in the next three years, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Monday at a meeting with the State Duma, parliament's lower chamber.

"We are always very cautious about the personal income tax changes, and we plan no changes in the next three years, for which we plan our budget," the minister said.

The State Duma deputies said that the income of the richest Russians increased and asked whether the government could introduce a progressive income tax in order to solve the poverty issue.

Siluanov said that the billionaires will find a way to evade the tax, and the middle class will suffer.
